Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)

Obtaining continuing nursing education has long been an expectation for the ongoing professional development of the registered nurse. Given the focus on quality outcomes and the need for safe patient care in the contemporary healthcare environment, registered nurses need opportunities for professional development that enhance their ability to provide safe, high-quality care.

The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing provides nursing healthcare professionals the opportunity to obtain quality accredited continuing nursing education (CNE) through a site dedicated to nursing professional development. Our site offers nursing professionals an accredited list of Live Seminars to attend and Distance CE’s that can be taken online. Nursing professionals are given the opportunity to continue their professional development needs with the programs provided in the School of Nursing - Continuing Nursing Education website.
