The School of Nursing awards scholarships to a number of qualified students each year. Scholarships are awarded based on both financial need and merit. The online scholarship application will be available from December 1, 2015 through March 19, 2016 and is used to award students for the following academic year. Decisions about scholarship awards are available by about June 1st.

- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available online at or from the Office of Student Financial Services.

The Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) offers various forms of financial assistance to students attending The University of Texas at Austin. The OSFS offers two types of financial aid awards: (1) gift aid, which includes grants and scholarships, and (2) self-help aid, which includes the College Work-Study Program and long-term loans.
To apply for financial aid, students must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available from the Office of Student Financial Services. Applications must be submitted each year the student seeks financial aid.

American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD): Frederick J. Krause Scholarship on Health and Disability.
The AAHD Frederick J. Krause Scholarship on Health and Disability is awarded annually to students with disabilities who are pursuing undergraduate/graduate degrees in public health, health promotion, and disability studies. The Army Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) and the UT Austin School of Nursing have agreed to sponsor the Partnership in Nursing Education Program. This program allows a nursing student to enroll in the Army ROTC program and receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps. Additionally, nursing students are eligible for full Army ROTC scholarship benefits while attaining their degree.

Brackenridge Hospital Scholarship - Deadline: April 30 for the Spring Award and July 30 for the Fall Award
