The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program at The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing is among the best in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report rankings released April 9, 2024.

The School’s MSN program ranked #14 overall (tied) among 2024 Best Graduate School in the U.S. and #8 (tied) among public universities and is the top-ranked MSN program in Texas.

The UT Austin School of Nursing’s MSN is designed to provide the opportunity for advanced study in select areas of nursing science, professional foundations, related sciences, and modes of systematic inquiry related to advanced and specialized professional nursing practice. 

U.S. News and World Report rankings for MSN programs are based on four factors: research activity, faculty resources, student excellence and qualitative ratings from experts.
