  1. Go to Census American Fact Finder
  2. Expand the Topics listing (on the far left).
  3. Expand the Dataset option and select 2010 SF1 100% data filter.
  4. Click the Geographies box and a layover will appear.
  5. Select geographic type: 5 digit ZCTA
  6. Select state
  7. Select Zipcode in box, click “Add To Your Selections” at the bottom
  8. Click close on far right
  9. Under the ‘Topics’ tab, expand ‘Dataset’, select ‘2010 Demographic Profile SF’
  10. Close Topics overlay
  11. On the main section of the page, select the box next to “Profile of General Population and Housing Characteristics 2010”
  12. Select ‘View’ on the header above the main page section.

KIDS COUNT is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in the U.S. This site consists of population data about age, gender, households, families, and housing units from the Census Short Form (Census SF1) and social, economic, and housing data from the Census Long Form (Census SF3).
