DEI Committee

Ultimately, it is the goal of the entirety of the School of Nursing community—students, faculty, staff and community health partners to foster an environment that supports the values of diversity, inclusion and equity. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee is made up of a group of faculty, staff and students at the School of Nursing with the expressed mission of fostering an environment that prioritizes, values and supports efforts to maintain a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment at the School of Nursing. The committees aligns its goals with the University Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan and regularly seeks guidance from the University of Texas at Austin Division of Diversity and Community Engagement.
