The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is honored to recognize Pride Month. For our last Friday News and Spotlight, we want to empower the LBGTQiA+ community with listings of resources to provide support, education, support and community to all who need/want this information including, but not limited to, the LBGTQiA+ population, families, friends, allies, community, and healthcare professionals.  

PFLAG Austin - LGBTQ Resources

PFLAG Austin is a chapter of a national non-profit organization, and provides free, confidential support groups for Austin, Texas area LGBTQ persons (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning) along with their family and friends. PFLAG Austin is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a local chapter of the national PFLAG organization.

The Central Texas GSA Coalition works in fostering community and compiling resources for LGBTQIAP2+ teens in Central Texas. The Central Texas GSA Coalition is a project of Out Youth’s Texas GSA Network.
