Julie Cruse is a clinical instructor at the University of Texas at Austin in the School of Nursing. She currently teaches classes in the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner advanced practice track and is a clinical instructor for undergraduate nursing students for mental health.

She completed a master's degree in nursing at Angelo State University, a post master's certificate from the University of Texas at Austin in psychiatric mental health, and a post master's certificate from the University of Texas at Arlington in adult gerontology acute care.
