Critical Care Research (Danesh Lab) is an interdisciplinary research group focusing on clinical and health services research in critical illness. Our interdisciplinary research teams are collaborating on federally-funded and extramurally sponsored research projects. Our research group and collaborators have expertise in nursing, health services administration, critical care medicine, pulmonary, psychiatric-mental health nursing, architecture, GIS, data science, social work, population health, and gerontology. Our Critical Care Research group is contributing to innovation with ongoing work in clinical research, implementation science, and health care delivery.

Our team has a history of training successful clinicians and clinician-scientists through a tailored program of mentoring, didactic education, and experiential research. Our trainees typically pursue careers in medicine, nursing, physical therapy and other clinical fields
