Dr. Lin is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Adult Health Nursing. Her research interests include nurse’s work environments, resilience, role transitions, as well as quality and safety in healthcare. Her current research aims to examine resilience among nurses working in long term care or rehabilitation settings and to investigate whether demographics, professional quality of life, and sleep quality are significant predictors of nurse’s resilience. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Lin continues to practice as a staff nurse at an acute rehabilitation unit providing direct patient care. This practical experience provides an insider’s view of nurses’ work experiences. She is actively involved with the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
