School of Nursing Virtual Commencement Ceremony

Join us for the School of Nursing’s 2020 Virtual Fall Convocation!

On Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. (CST), the School of Nursing will host a virtual ceremony in honor of the graduating Class of 2020. The commencement ceremony will be held live through the  School of Nursing YouTube. There is no limit to the number of guests that can attend the ceremony and there is no cost to attend.

Recognition: Graduates will be recognized during the livestreamed ceremony that will include a video processional and individual recognition.

Regalia: Graduates are encouraged to use a cap and gown to attend the virtual event.

  • Saturday, December 5, 10:00 a.m. (CST): Access the ceremony via YouTube Premiere.
  • If you have a YouTube/Gmail account, please login so you can comment and interact with others in real-time as the video of the ceremony plays.
  • The Ceremony will begin with remarks from Dean Alexa Stuifbergen, and an address from student speakers Cilla Parkison​, graduating MSN student, and Rachel Reprogle, graduating BSN student.
  • A simulated procession will present the graduating Class of 2020 with Pomp and Circumstance, and you will have the opportunity to view individual slides for each graduate.
  • We will conclude with a video from the School of Nursing Community, in honor of the Class of 2020.
