The UT Austin School of Nursing hosted its first fall career fair, connecting approximately 175 nursing students with 20 employers and recruiters. Students explored career and educational opportunities while gaining valuable insight into the next steps in their professional journeys.

The University of Texas at Austin announced Tuesday that Kavita Radhakrishnan, PhD, MSEE, RN, FAAN, FAHA, has been named as the 5th dean of the School of Nursing, effective September 1, 2026.

The Johnson-Turpin Center for Gerontological Nursing promotes nursing excellence in providing support for older adults. This year, we were acknowledged by the Texas Nursing Association. Jacki Hecht, RN, MSN, Project Coordinator in the Johnson-Turpin Center was selected as one of 25 Outstanding Texas Nurses of 2026.
