Assistant Professor’ Manuscript Accepted for Publication

Valerie Danesh, PhD, RN, CCRP, CCRN-K and assistant professor, was notified that her team’s manuscript titled “Telehealth in mental health nursing education: Healthcare simulation with remote presence technology” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services.

Additional authors include Donna Rolin, PhD, APRN, PMHCNS-BC, PMHNP-BC, and assistant professor of clinical nursing; Scott Hudson, director of the Simulation and Skills Center; and Sean White, instructional technology specialist, all with The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing.

The Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal for mental health nurses in a variety of community and institutional settings. For more than 50 years, the Journal has provided the most up-to-date, practical information available for today’s psychosocial nurse, including short contributions about psychopharmacology, mental health care of older adults, and child/adolescent disorders and issues.
