The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing Associate Professor, Cara Young, PhD, RN, FNP-C, FAANP, FAAN, published an article in the June 2024 edition of Neuropsychopharmacology journal.

The article, “Isradipine augmentation of virtual reality cue exposure therapy for tobacco craving: a triple-blind randomized controlled trial,” co-authored with UT Austin Psychology's Jasper Smits, PhD, and Santiago Papini, PhD, from the University of Hawaii, finds combining isradipine and VR cue exposure therapy shows promise for reducing smoking cravings.
