Researcher Named Fellow of National Society

Rick Brown, PhD, has been elected to Fellowship in the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) in recognition of his long record of research and service to improve health.

Dr. Brown's current intervention is designed to help individuals with serious mental health problems quit smoking. He will be recognized at the 2019 SBM conference in March in Washington, DC.

SBM is the leading forum for more than 2,400 behavioral and biomedical researchers and clinicians to study the interactions and relationships between behavioral, physiological, and biochemical states, and morbidity and mortality.
