The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing is excited to introduce the next group of Social Media Ambassadors for 2026. Building on the success of this year’s inaugural program, this initiative continues to highlight the vibrant student community and the unique experiences that define life at the UT Austin School of Nursing.

The next group of ambassadors will work closely with Communications Coordinator Kerry Steinhofer to create dynamic, short-form content for Instagram. Through their authentic voices, they will offer a behind-the-scenes look at student life, academic opportunities and the impact of a UT Austin nursing education.

“The Social Media Ambassador Program provides students with a unique platform to share their experiences, creativity and passion for nursing,” Steinhofer said. “Our ambassadors are talented, innovative and driven to inspire others by highlighting the heart and energy of the School of Nursing community. I’m proud of all that this year’s ambassadors accomplished, and I can’t wait to see the fresh ideas and perspectives the next group will bring.”

In addition to representing the School of Nursing, ambassadors gain hands-on experience in digital storytelling, social media strategy and content creation. The program also aims to motivate current and prospective students, celebrate faculty, staff and student achievements and demonstrate the dedication that drives our nursing community forward.

With this new cohort, the School of Nursing looks forward to continuing a tradition of creativity, connection and authentic student storytelling that amplifies the voices of those shaping the future of health care.
