
Tracy Demchuk, EdD, senior director for graduate program advising & admissions at The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing, has been named a recipient of the 2025 President’s Outstanding Staff Award and the 2025 Texas Exes James W. Vick Award for Academic Advising. These university-wide honors celebrate non-teaching employees and academic advisors who have made exceptional contributions to student success and the University’s mission.
Demchuk’s leadership has been instrumental in enhancing the graduate student experience at the UT Austin School of Nursing. Her commitment to student success, program development and academic advising has consistently elevated the School's graduate programs.
The dual recognition follows her 2024 recognition with the Graduate School’s Outstanding Graduate Coordinator Award, highlighting her sustained excellence in student support and administration.
“Receiving these awards is truly an honor,” Demchuk said. “It’s a reflection of the relationships I’ve built with students and colleagues over the years. To be recognized for work that I genuinely love doing makes this especially meaningful.”
