About Family Wellness Center (FWC)

History

In response to the growing demand for readily available healthcare services in Central Texas, UT Austin School of Nursing took a proactive step to enhance the offerings of the Children's Wellness Center. This initiative led to the establishment of the Family Wellness Center in 2007, a testament to their unwavering commitment to comprehensive healthcare, catering not only to children but to the broader spectrum of family health needs as well.

Mission

The mission of the Family Wellness Center is to provide excellence in the delivery of primary care services in a clinical setting while enhancing the body of nursing knowledge for undergraduate and graduate nursing students.
