Kimberly is Certified Nurse Midwife and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who joined UT in 2019 as a perinatal clinical instructor for the Alternate Entry MSN (AEMSN) students. Prior to becoming a midwife, she was a Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby nurse. She has been a midwife since 2011, mainly practicing in birthing centers. Kimberly is also passionate about perinatal mental health and is an advocate for people suffering with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Throughout her career, Kimberly has served as a preceptor to a number of nursing and midwifery students. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and being outdoors with her family.
