Stephanie Key is the current Director of the Post-Master's DNP Option III program. It is rewarding to watch DNP students develop leadership skills, master the core competencies of advanced nursing, and witness the impact of scholarly projects improving health outcomes and systems change. She served as Director of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) primary care program for 15 years and Chair of the Advanced Practice division for the past five years. She enjoys teaching the next generation of APRNs who serve the healthcare needs of children and families. Dr. Key has been instrumental in promoting more psychiatric and mental health curricula in the PNP program at UT Austin. In clinical practice, Dr. Key specializes in the diagnosis and management of children with ADHD and other behavioral issues.
