The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing is ranked as the top nursing undergraduate program in the state by U.S. News & World Report.
In addition, UT Austin improved 13 places to finish tied with eight other schools for 27th nationally among undergraduate nursing programs, according to the “2027 Best College Rankings” list released by the magazine on Tuesday.
“We are incredibly proud to be ranked the top undergraduate nursing program in Texas and to rise 13 places nationally,” said Dean Kavita Radhakrishnan, PhD, RN, MSEE, FAAN, FAHA. “This recognition reflects the excellence of our faculty and staff, the talent and dedication of our students, and our shared commitment to preparing nurses who will lead and transform health care in Texas and beyond.”
The list ranks nearly 700 college and university undergraduate nursing programs across the country.
