Post-master’s DNP Project Award

The DNP Project Award provides support for students in the implementation and dissemination of their DNP projects. The maximum amount for the award is $500 for up to two students per academic year. Awards are merit based and applications are rated on the significance/potential impact of the project, feasibility of plan and timeline, and overall quality of methods used to complete the project.

Application Requirements

All applicants must meet the following requirements established by UT Austin School of Nursing.

  1. Must be post-master’s DNP student in good standing enrolled at UT Austin, School of Nursing.
  2. Must be currently in second year of DNP program.
  3. Must submit the Online Application Form and provide the following supporting documents by the application deadline.
    1. A brief description of your project (< 2 pages) which includes: Significance/impact of project, Proposed methods planned for the project, and Timeline.
    2. One letter of support from either your DNP project advisor or DNP faculty.
