Post-master’s DNP Program Scholarly Travel Funding
The Scholarly Travel Funding Award provides support for Option III DNP students to attend professional meetings at which they present an original poster or paper based on their work in the DNP program at The University of Texas.
The maximum amount for the award is $700 each for up to two students per academic year. The fund will be awarded as a reimbursement using a Request to Travel Authorization (RTA) except for the conference registration fee, which can be paid prior to the conference. The Office of Student Services will enter the RTA and will send notification email to the student about the amounts awarded and how to claim the fund. Please save your receipts for reimbursement. You must submit for reimbursement within 4 weeks after travel and before graduation. Any student that meets the criteria will be awarded the funds on a first come, first serve basis. Application date for the travel award rather than conference date will be used to determine priority.
