The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing is proud to announce our T32 training fellows. Training fellows receive personalized mentoring and transdisciplinary team project experience to become successful clinical investigators who will make a major impact on advancing self-management science through precision health methodologies.
Each fellow commits to the training program for 2 years acquiring core competencies through structured coursework, seminars/workshops, interactive discussion groups (e.g., journal clubs); the institutional environment; personalized mentoring; and transdisciplinary team project experience.
Upon completion of the program the fellows will be able to:
- synthesize knowledge applicable to self-management science and precision health methodology,
- design innovative, self-management interventions using both group and individualized tailoring methods,
- understand the molecular basis of health and disease, and
- incorporate “omic” data into personalized self-management interventions while using pertinent data analytics to enhance personalized interventions."
We look forward to recruiting new T32 training fellows each year through the duration of this grant.
