UT Police Officer Grant Kessler faced an emergency on an ordinary summer day that became a fight to save a man’s life. Thanks in part to training from the School of Nursing, Kessler responded quickly and confidently during a medical distress call to support the life-saving measures.

The School of Nursing's Cindy Taylor has been awarded the Outstanding Research Administrator of the Year. The Outstanding Research Administrator of the Year Award honors a seasoned professional with more than three years of service who has demonstrated exceptional contributions beyond day-to-day responsibilities. As the only pre-award staff member in the School of Nursing, Cindy has spent more than a decade serving as an expert, educator, problem-solver and trusted partner.
