The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification Renewal course is designed for healthcare professionals and students who need to maintain their certification and demonstrate continued competency in high-quality CPR and basic cardiovascular life support. Participants must hold a current, valid AHA BLS Provider Certification to enroll; expired certifications are not accepted. Individuals whose certification has expired, or who are seeking initial certification, should register for the AHA BLS Provider (CPR) Certification Course.

The Course Scheduling Committee will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from August 27 through December 10, 2025, except on November 26, in NUR 2.102A, UT Austin School of Nursing.

This virtual session will allow prospective freshman talk directly with our School of Nursing Peer Mentors to address questions about student life and the realities of being a current nursing student at UT Austin.

External transfer applicants are prospective students who have already started their studies at another college or university and desire to apply to UT Austin. To apply, visit the Office of Admissions.
