Shalonda E. Horton, PhD, MSN, BSN

Dr. Shalonda Horton has been a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing since 2006, teaching courses in public health nursing, global health, health policy, and clinical skills. She brings extensive clinical experience and over 20 years of military nursing service, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Her research uses community-based participatory approaches to examine physical and mental health promotion, with a focus on faith-based settings.
Ana Todd, PhD, RN

Dr. Ana Todd received her BA in Psychology from College of the Holy Cross, a BSN from Fitchburg State University, and her PhD in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. Her area of research is health promotion in faith-based settings for various populations to improve mental health and physical health outcomes especially the African American population.
