Technology-Based Behavioral Intervention Research Lab
The Technology-Based Behavioral Intervention Research (TBIR) Lab focuses on developing and evaluating technology-based interventions to address diverse health needs, with a strong emphasis on improving the quality of life and well-being of ethnic groups across diverse communities. Through these research efforts, we strive to contribute to evidence-based practices that improve both physical and emotional well-being across the lifespan.
Our research focus on:
- Technology-based Interventions for various health needs
- Breast Cancer survivors' pain management for their overall well-being
- Depressive symptoms management among breast cancer survivors, aiming to enhance their emotional well-being
- Cancer support programs for Colorectal cancer survivors, designed to improve survivorship experiences and outcomes.
- Physical activity interventions to promote mental health and reduce depressive symptoms across various populations.
- Caregiver support programs that aim to alleviate the burden of caregiving and improve the quality of life for those caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)
- Midlife women’s health experiences
