The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing is an authorized American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center (TX21038), providing life-saving education to students, faculty, and the community. The center also supports nursing students with quiet study spaces, reservable rooms, and computer workstations.

AHA Certification Courses
For Nursing Faculty, Staff, Students, and the Community
As an authorized AHA Training Center, we offer certification courses designed to equip participants with critical emergency response skills.
Our programs serve:

Participants gain hands-on experience and the confidence to respond effectively in life-threatening situations.
Computer Testing Center (CTC)
For Nursing Faculty, Staff & Students
The CTC provides a secure, designated space for classroom use and proctored exams.
Features: Private room with 12 computers, webcam capability, and UT Print services
Location: NUR 3.166
Spring/Fall Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Summer Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Room Reservation: Faculty may reserve the CTC via the online room reservation system.

LEAP Center
For Nursing Students
The LEAP Center is a dedicated academic support space located on the 3rd floor, designed to support focused study and collaboration for nursing students.
