The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification Renewal course is designed for healthcare professionals and students who need to maintain their certification and demonstrate continued competency in high-quality CPR and basic cardiovascular life support. Participants must hold a current, valid AHA BLS Provider Certification to enroll; expired certifications are not accepted. Individuals whose certification has expired, or who are seeking initial certification, should register for the AHA BLS Provider (CPR) Certification Course.

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider (CPR) is an instructor/lecture led, video-based course that teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR for all ages, how to use an AED, and choking relief in adults and infants. 100% classroom training means students are with an AHA instructor for their entire learning experience.

External transfer applicants are prospective students who have already started their studies at another college or university and desire to apply to UT Austin. To apply, visit the Office of Admissions.

The Center for Professional Development and Scholarship (CPDS) presents a Faculty Development Workshop on Microsoft Teams. This training introduces Microsoft Teams at UT Austin, highlighting its availability at no additional cost. It covers essential features such as chat, meetings, calendar, calls, file sharing, and apps, with guidance on getting started and personalizing settings. The session also emphasizes compliance with university policies, including ISO and Records Management approval for handling confidential information.
