Instructional design encompasses the analysis of learning needs and goals and the use of instructional materials and activities to develop course material beneficial to faculty and student learning outcomes. The School of Nursing Instructional Designer collaborates with faculty and staff in the creation of Canvas courses, course materials, teaching and learning activities, and more. By reviewing your teaching and learning goals, the Instructional Designer analyzes course needs and considers new teaching methods and technologies to help you meet those goals.

The School of Nursing Web Project Manager collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and ITS team in maintaining the School of Nursing website as well as other pubic-facing websites, including, student organizations, research, labs, programs and centers websites. The Web Project Manager assists nursing faculty, staff, and student assistance with content architecture, web design, web development, content management system (CMS), web analytics, web accessibility, online form and registration, search engine optimization (SEO), and overall website organization. Our goal is to provide users with up-to-date, informative, and user-friendly website, and to ensure the website is responsive and running successfully on the major browser, platforms, and devices.

Computer Testing Center
The Computer Testing Center (CTC) provides specific testing areas and other computer services to the School of Nursing students and faculty. A private room equipped with 12 computers can be reserved for faculty classroom use and for restricted class exams. Faculty may reserve the CTC through the online School of Nursing room reservation system.
CTC Location: NUR 3.166: It can accommodate 12 students; a laptop is available for faculty at the front of the room.
CTC Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:30 pm | Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | Saturday, Sunday: Closed

The School of Nursing Division Assistant to Faculty & LEAP provides administrative support to the department by assisting with reception services, documentation and record retention, and preparing and proofreading correspondence, syllabi and exams, and other documents as requested by faculty and staff. Assists faculty by answering questions and providing information, locating desired information and materials, obtaining desk copies of textbooks and other classroom related items. Maintains both workrooms and supplies.
